Toggle the power switch ON/OFF.
PAIR-
Press and hold the Bluetooth” key for three seconds until the LED flashes blue. On your iPad, under Settings > Bluetooth™ select your Brydge. When successfully paired, the blue LED will turn off and your keyboard and trackpad will be active.
SETTINGS

AssistiveTouch settings must be off for gestures to work properly. To do this, go to iPad Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > OFF

To adjust other trackpad settings such as it's speed, "Tap to Click" or "Two-Finger Tap", go to Settings > General > Trackpad

GENERAL

Once paired, you can add a widget to your Home Screen or Today View to view the battery percentage of your Brydge.
1) Touch and hold an empty part of your screen until the icons wiggle.
2) Touch the "+" icon and scroll down to "Batteries", select the style you want, and tap "Add Widget"

If the charge state of your Brydge is below 15%, the backlit key functionality will be temporarily disabled to conserve the battery life.

When a charging cable is connected, a solid red LED will indicate that your Brydge is charging and turn off once it's fully charged.
CARE
Your Brydge comes equipped with a Li-Ion battery that will, with proper care, last the lifetime of your current iPad or longer.

Ensure your keyboard has at least 40-60% battery charge before being stored away for several days or longer. As with any battery-equipped device, a prolonged period of deep discharge might degrade the battery, sometimes significantly reducing its total capacity.

Prolonged exposure to high temperatures, such as in a car during summer, might damage the battery of your iPad and Brydge keyboard.

Control + Command + Space
Press this shortcut to open the emoji selector, allowing you to browse and insert emojis directly into your text. This works anywhere you can type for quick and convenient input.
Alternatively, you can configure your Globe key to open the emoji selector:
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard, then enable Press "Globe" for Emoji (toggle to green).We recommend using a microfiber cloth damped in water or mild cleaning wipes without ethanol.

First power off your keyboard.

Ensure the microfiber cloth is dry enough to prevent water beading while cleaning. Water ingress can damage the keyframe in certain cases.

Don't use Isopropyl alcohol as it can damage polymers and plastics. A mild detergent can be used instead.

In rare cases, Bluetooth devices might fail to connect to your iPad. Resetting the Network Settings will resolve pairing issues.

Hold down the "Home button" and the "Sleep/Wake" button until your iPad restarts.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > and select "Reset Network Settings"

Set up your Bluetooth pairings again.
